He attended Class #61 from 12 Aug 2010 to 20 Jun 2011. WO Nemoto is now assigned as the Sergeant Major of the JGSDF, the senior JGSDF Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) position, equivalent to the Sergeant Major of the Army (SMA) in the United States Army.

WO Nemoto has been strongly committed to U.S.-Japan bilateral NCO relationship through his career. He was a key part in the success of the U.S.-Japan Bilateral Senior Noncommissioned Officer Symposium, which we successfully conducted with Sergeants Major from across the JGSDF formations.
