Command Sgt. Maj. Tammy Everette enlisted in the Army in May 1996 attending Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.

CSM Everette is married to Henry and has two daughters, Jasmine and Courtney, and one son Jalen.
