Force Sergeant Major of His Majesty's Armed Forces Fiji

Senior Warrant Officer (SWO) Paula Fifita is currently the Force Sergeant Major (FSM) of His Majesty's Armed Forces (HMAF). SWO Fifita was born in Felemea, Ha'apai on 22 September 1967. He was educated at Tupou College then Tupou High School before enlistment on 8 August 1989.

After successfully completing his military basic training at Taliai Military Camp, he was posted to HMAF Naval Base. In 2002, he was posted as the Officer In-Charge at Velata Naval Base, Ha'apai. He was later transferred to HMAF Store Depot Unit as CQMS, before being posted to the Support Unit as the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) in 2016. In June 2019, he was promoted to SWO followed by his appointment as FSM on 1 December 2019.
