Sergeant Major of the Czech Armed Forces Petr Seifert was born on March 14,1975, and entered the Czech Armed Forces on February 15,1993, as a private.

He was appointed as the Sergeant Major of the Czech Armed Forces on October 15, 2011.

Sergeant Major of the Czech Armed Forces Petr Seifert’s military and civilian education includes the Czech Armed Forces Staff Noncommissioned Officer Course, the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant School, the Czech Armed Forces Command Sergeants Major Course, the NATO School Command Senior Enlisted Leader´s Course, the Czech Armed Forces Military High School and is currently attending the Metropolitan University in Prague.

Sgt. Maj. of the Czech Armed Forces Petr Seifert is married to Linda Predigerová and together they have a son Tomáš. His hobbies include hiking, fishing, bicycling, photography and history.

Sergeant Major of the Czech Armed Forces Petr Seifert is a graduate of Class 61 of the U. S. Army Sergeants Major Course.
