Visitor Coordination

The Visitor Coordination Office works closely with international embassies to facilitate visits from foreign militaries to the Academy. In this picture Command Sgt. Maj. Dennis Defreese, SGM-A commandant, poses for a group picture with the delegation from the Saudi Arabia National Guard in December 2014. The delegation of seven was headed up by Colj. Abdullan Ali Al-Ghamdi and included Lt. Col. Aamer Shanar Al-Dousari , Lt. Col. Matrook Al-Otaib, and Maj. J Naser Hamad Showishan. They were accompanied by Sgt. Maj. Joey Love, OPM-SANG senior enlisted advisor, and Master Sgt. Daniel McDonnell, OPM-SANG.

 

Mission
The Protocol Office coordinates and executes guest visits to The NCO Leadership Center of Excellence; advises staff and faculty in the use of proper protocol procedures; provides instruction in the Spouse Leader Development Course; serves as liaison with Department of Defense agencies, installation activities, international embassies, and local community activities requiring protocol arrangements.
